Ludwig is an exceptionally talented electronics development engineer and the creator of BREmote, an open-source remote-control system for eFoils, electric skateboards, tow boogies, and other electric rideable projects.

With BREmote V2, he has taken the open-source philosophy beyond software by openly sharing the electronics, source code, documentation, and 3D-printable components. This allows users to build, repair, modify, and improve the remote themselves, making it a practical and sustainable alternative to closed commercial products.

Ludwig continues to develop the system, add new features, solve technical issues, and actively support the community. His work combines advanced engineering, innovation, sustainability, and genuine open-source collaboration.

Luka Ž.

Luka is a passionate foil-surfing enthusiast with a strong interest in everything related to foil boards, their construction, design, and performance. What began as a personal passion gradually developed into a deeper exploration of different board types and technical solutions.

As a mechanical engineer, Luka combines practical experience with engineering knowledge to develop and improve foil boards of all kinds. His work is driven by curiosity, precision, and a constant desire to experiment with new ideas and create boards that perform well on the water.

Jure K.

Jure is an experienced engineer, developer, and the driving force behind JKTech, a company focused on technology and innovation. His work combines mechanics, electronics, and programming, allowing him to develop complete technical solutions from the first idea to a fully functional prototype.

His expertise includes mechanical and electronic design, PCB development, microcontroller programming, 3D modelling, 3D printing, and prototype manufacturing. He is also highly experienced in drone technology, measurement and control systems, industrial devices, and specialised electronic equipment.

Jure approaches every project with technical precision, creativity, and a strong practical mindset. Through JKTech, he transforms complex ideas into reliable, carefully engineered products and prototypes, combining different fields of engineering into effective real-world solutions.

Noel G.

Noel is a lifelong tinkerer with a deep passion for pioneering sports and emerging technologies. He was involved in the early days of hang gliding, witnessed the development of paragliding from its beginnings, and explored early snowboard design as the sport evolved.

Over the years, he has built and experimented with snowboards, jetboards, and eFoils, continuously improving each new version. Even when an idea did not work as expected, he used the experience to refine the next design. In 2018, he began working on powered water boards, starting with a jetboard and later focusing more deeply on electric propulsion and eFoil development.

Today, Noel designs, builds, and tests new eFoil concepts in his well-equipped garage workshop, using tools for 3D printing, CNC machining, and programming. His son Kian carries out the riding and on-water testing, while Noel focuses on engineering, optimisation, and technical development. Together, they turn their home lake into a practical testing ground for new ideas and improvements.

Jasmin R.

Jasmin is an inventor, entrepreneur, and one of the key driving forces behind Openfoil.com. His work grew from hands-on experimentation with eFoil technology into the development of innovative foil-related products and a wider platform for collaboration.

He is the main connector between engineers, designers, developers, manufacturers, and passionate builders who contribute their specialist knowledge to Openfoil.com. By bringing together people from different technical backgrounds, Jasmin helps transform individual ideas and experimental projects into practical solutions that can be further developed and made available to the wider community.

His work is guided by curiosity, collaboration, and the belief that innovation grows through shared knowledge. Jasmin continues to develop new ideas, support open-source projects, and connect talented contributors, making him an important link between the creative DIY community and professional eFoil development.
